Glory Consulting & Education Empowers 223 Londoners through GLA Community Outreach Programme
Glory Consulting & Education is proud to announce the successful delivery of the Skills for Londoners Community Outreach Programme 2024–25, funded by the Mayor of London. This vital initiative enabled us to support over 200 Londoners from marginalised communities—many of whom had never studied or worked in the UK before—to overcome barriers and take meaningful steps toward learning, skills development, and employment.
Breaking Barriers, Building Confidence
From September 2024 to August 2025, our outreach team engaged with 223 participants across multiple boroughs. We supported individuals who faced some of the deepest barriers to adult learning, including:
Long-term unemployment
Low levels of English and digital literacy
Disability or long-term health conditions
Lack of qualifications or UK work history
Caring responsibilities or low income
We worked with each person one-to-one to understand their situation and build a practical, achievable plan. With our support, many participants entered learning or returned to it for the first time in years.

Amal’s Story: New Skills, New Start
One of our most inspiring success stories is Amal, a Moroccan mother of three who had lived in the UK for over 10 years without ever working or studying here. Amal was referred to us by her Jobcentre Work Coach and met with our adviser, who helped her explore her interests and goals.
We referred her to Intech Centre’s DWP-funded ESOL with Employability course. Since then, Amal has made tremendous progress:
She has improved her speaking, listening, and job-related English
She’s gained digital confidence, learned to use email, and searched for jobs online
She created a new CV and started applying for roles in fashion and tailoring
Most importantly, her confidence has flourished
She’s now actively preparing to re-enter the workplace—proof of what can happen when the right support meets the right moment.
